In her more than 7 Years of experience, She has covered various aspects of clinical nutrition like Diabetes, Heart disease, Liver and Kidney diseases and Lifestyle disorders, Pre and Post-transplant dietary management, Paediatric nutrition, Diet in Weight management, Metabolic disorders and many more.
Currently, she is working as Consultant Dietician in Clinic and Freelancer. Also as an Online Diet Consultant and blogger with Healthy Tips.
During the course of her practical experience, she observed that people have become more aware about their diet and health. They are following preventive measures to be healthy, but still, many myths are there about food and dietary treatment yet to be clear with people. This ignorance is still present in all socio-economic group of society.
She believes that proper Diet Counselling is not just handing over a diet plan, it is a process of collecting dietary habits of the person and explaining the benefits of each and every food incorporated in the plan and explaining the side effects of foods that must be avoided in detail until the person is satisfied. She believes that successful counseling is the one where a person feels satisfied, motivated and happy after the counseling.
She has attended and organized various health camps and events where she counsels children as well as parents. She has given various health talks on schools and colleges. She has worked with Safdarjung Hospital, AIIMS, Max Health Care, Sitaram Bhartia Insitute of Science and Research, Narayana Health, Fortis Healthcare, Apollo Hospitals and Health ARX Technologies private ltd.
She loves working with Critical Care, Renal Diet and Diet in Diabetes and counseling them about diet. She develops healthy recipes and Diet charts for them to add more nutrition in their meals. She writes blogs on Healthy tips. She makes them understand in their own way so that at least they become aware about healthy eating habits. She also educates the family about a healthy diet.
